MUDDY CARZ REVIEW
2025
I arrived a little early with the Bloodline Edition Camaro and tried to grab a similar spot to where I parked in 2024. Unfortunately, I was told the back lot was reserved for a special edition fire engine that was being delivered to the show. No big deal — I ended up with a pretty prime spot right on the Fire Company’s front driveway.
The cars started rolling in steadily around 9:00 AM, and before you knew it, the front yard was packed and the neighborhood streets were filling up with some beautiful cars. Kudos to the local residents for giving up their parking for the day and putting up with a little bit of car show chaos. That’s just part of the car show culture.
The morning was a little chilly, but hey, it was the first week of November, so what do you expect? By the afternoon, though, the sun was out and it turned into a fantastic fall day.
Inside the fire hall, the raffle tables were packed with some pretty good stuff — TVs, grills, all kinds of prizes, and even a HUGE basket loaded with Philadelphia Eagles gear and party stuff.
And then came the trophies.
Jefferson Fire Company probably has more trophies than any local show I’ve been to. If you like walking around a show and checking out the cars — and then sticking around to see who takes home some hardware — this one definitely delivers.
MUDDY CARZ REVIEW
2024
I’m winding down my first year of attending car shows — wow! It’s a lot of work doing these shows with an everyday driver that lives outside in an apartment complex parking lot, at the mercy of Mother Nature.
Today was my first time at the Jefferson Fire Company Car Show, and my last show of the 2024 season. Doing these shows on my own is still intimidating, and since I didn’t know exactly how this one worked, I pulled in a little early. They sent me around the back side of the fire station, where I grabbed the last spot in the row — sign and all, tucked under my front wheel. Turned out to be a great spot. Maybe I’ll try for it again next year!
I got the 2023 Camaro Bloodline Edition set up, gave it a quick detail wipe-down, and headed out to walk the show. I was overwhelmed by the size of it — this isn’t your ordinary parking-lot car show. This one had parking lots, driveways, and neighborhood streets. Cars packed both sides of School Lane and spilled onto the side streets. This tiny neighborhood looked like it was hosting a sporting event, except the parking was full of Class A+ cars.
I’ve been in plenty of fire stations, but walking into this one — trophies everywhere, raffles going — I was sure I had a shot at a Top 20. I came away empty-handed, but full of hope that next year will be different.
