Garage Notes: October 2026
October was the busiest month yet. We made four car shows in five weekends, SEPA5+ wrapped up its season, Muddy Carz signed its first sponsor, and a few new things went up on the site. Here’s the roundup.
Sponsors
Muddy Carz has its first sponsor. Executive Collision signed on at the SPCA Car Show Fundraiser on October 3, and you’ll find their logo at the bottom of every page under “Thanks to our sponsors.” Thank you for backing us this early. They also agreed to allow is to add they’re truck to our Feature Car section of the website
Local businesses can now sponsor a single club’s page, so you can back the club your customers actually drive with. The Featured Car spot is open too. Details are on our Advertise page.
What’s new on the site
Bloodline Edition is here. The first edition is the 2023 Chevrolet Camaro 3LT RS, the car that started Muddy Carz. It also tells the story behind the Bloodline name, which comes from a Chevrolet showroom and the Marine Corps. Read the first edition.
Featured Cars are on the way. A Featured Car is one we come across and want to show you, whether it’s at a show, a club meet, or the far end of a parking lot. Each one is told in the owner’s own words. We handed out our first owner forms at the Benevolent Car Show on October 31, and the first cars go up soon. The newest one will always be on the homepage.
A new club page: TDC Motor Club. Find it under Clubs & Groups, with their public events and how to become a member. Members-only meetings are now clearly labeled on club pages and in Find a Car Show, so nobody shows up to a closed meeting.
SEPA5+’s 2027 schedule is posted. Every meet for next season is already on their page. Between seasons, club pages now show when the next meet is instead of going blank.
Easier to find our show reviews. “Muddy Carz Was There” on the Car Shows page now shows our latest reviews. Past event pages say when the show took place and link to our review when there is one. New homepage cards take you straight to Show Reviews and Garage Notes.
And Garage Notes itself launched on October 23, with a look back at how Muddy Carz started.
Car shows and events
October 3: SPCA Car Show Fundraiser, Harleysville. Our review is up, with 2025 and 2026 together on one page. Read the review. This year’s show was a little light on attendees because of all the rain dates, a lot of shows had to reschedule.
October 4: SEPA5+ Cars & Coffee. This was the September 27 meet, moved a week after rain.
October 10: Wyndmoor Hose Co. 1 car show. First time attending this show in the Philly suburbs. It turned out to be a great event.
October 18: Chadwick’s car show. Not sure exactly why, but I really enjoy this show. The location may have something to do with it since it’s one of the closest show to my house.
October 25: SEPA5+ Cars & Coffee, the last meet of the 2026 season. Pretty good turnout and great weather. Thanks to everyone who came out this year.
October 31: Benevolent Car Show. I hope to get a review from one of the attendees because this years show was huge for the location. Over 260 cars and when they started coming into the grounds this morning, it seemed that line never stopped. This is also where our first Featured Car forms went out. If you filled one in, thank you; your car could be first.
More reviews from this fall are on the way.
Coming up: Jefferson Fire Company – Nov 7th. SEPA5+ returns in March 2027. Find a Car Show
See you at the next one.
